Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 follows you home earlier then expected.

It was almost a year ago when the first Five Nights at Freddy’s game was released, now in a move very similar to the release of the third game, Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 has been released on Steam without ceremony and ahead of schedule.

The game takes place in the home of a small child, a major shift in setting and gameplay from the first three games in the series. The speed at which these games are releasing might make one worry that they are being rushed out, yet from what I have seen of the game, it doesn’t feel that way at all. Granted that is less of a surprise given the last two sequels gave the same feeling and result.

Scott Cawthon, the games developer has stated that more content will release for the game on October 31st. Until then though, at least there is no more waiting for the game.

The game is available for purchase on Steam now.
