Homefront: The Revolution Developer Promises to Fix Performance in Future Patches

It’s no secret that Homefront: The Revolution has been suffering from poor performance and framerate since its release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC this week, however, developer Dambuster Studios has promised to fix the game’s performance and framerate issues in upcoming patches.

Homefront: The Revolution‘s framerate has been a major issue for all platforms, especially on PlayStation 4 where the game is said to occasionally drop to 15fps, which we’re sure you would agree is an unacceptable framerate. Unfortunately, the Xbox One and PC versions have also been suffering from similar framerate drops. Even high end gaming PCs have been suffering from poor performance.

The studio admitted that performance, especially the framerate, is not where they want it to be. As a result, they are working on patches right now that will address the issues that Homefront: The Revolution is currently suffering from.

In a post on the game’s forums, Dambuster Studios Community Manager Craig Turned stated, “We’re aware that performance – particularly frame rate – is not currently where we want it to be, and we are working on additional patches to help address these issues and more.”

“Patch notes per platform will be available on the community forums and on Steam when they go live,” added Turner.

As for when we can expect these patches to hit PS4, Xbox One, and PC, Turner added that there is no ETA for them. We could be waiting a few days or a few weeks. Perhaps a month, even?

Hopefully, we’ll get the patches that will fix Homefront: The Revolution sooner rather than later though.
