Atlus Unveil New Persona 5 Trailer

After a very long wait (the game was first announced in 2013) Persona 5 has a release date, in Japan anyway. The latest installment in the long-running role-playing series will launch on September 15th with no release dates for Western territories announced at this time. The announcement came with an all new trailer nearly five minutes in length and showcasing the playable characters (many for the first time), battle system, and animated cutscenes.

Alongside the regular release, Atlus also announced a special “Anniversary Edition” to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Persona series, it includes an art book, special DLC, and a CD set featuring music from all five main Persona releases.
