Mafia 3 has finally been given a release date and will be heading to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on October 7, 2016, 2K Games has announced.
In addition to announcing the release date for Mafia 3, 2K Games also released a brand-new trailer for the game’s story.
Mafia 3 is being developed by Hangar 13 and takes place in 1968 in New Bordeaux, which is a recreation of New Orleans and follows the story of Vietnam war veteran Lincoln Clay who is seeking revenge against the Italian Mafia after his gang is slaughtered and wiped out by them. In your quest for revenge, you’ll explore a huge open-world as you build up your own crime empire and get payback on those who took away the lives of those closest you.
