Doom DLC and Open Beta Announced

ID Software announced today there will be an Open Beta for there upcoming reboot DOOM starting on April the 15th. Publisher Bethesda also announced DOOM will receive free DLC updates and 3 paid DLC.

Open Beta will run from 15th-18th of April and feature multiplayer content only, just like the closed beta. Open Beta features, Team Deathmatch, and Warpath modes, plus Heatwave and Infernal Maps.

Bethesda announced for their DLC they will be updating their multiplayer and user creation mode, also SnapMap with free content which includes new game modes, AI enhancements, and map modules.

As for the 3 paid DLC packs, they will each be priced at $14.99 / £11.99 / €14.99,

The first DLC will include:

  • Three new maps
  • One new weapon
  • One new playable demon
  • One new armour set
  • One new piece of equipment
  • New hack modules and taunts
  • New customization colours and patterns

A Season Pass will be offered comprising all the paid content for $39.99 / £29.99 / €39.99. So save yourself some pennies and grab the Season Pass!

DOOM will be released for Xbox One, PS4, and PC on May 13th.
