Total War: Warhammer DLC Made Free for First Week Buyers

Creative Assembly announced today that their DLC, Chaos Warriors, will be offered for free to first week buyers.

When the DLC was first announced, the Chaos Warrior Race Pack was meant to be a pre-order only bonus, but fans of Total War: Warhammer were greatly displeased with the announcement and took to forums to complain about the Chaos Warrior Announcement trailer, which received many dislikes as a result. Chaos Warrior is the first in many DLC packs Creative Assembly plan to release along side, Race Packs, Lord Packs, and Campaign Packs. This means there will be loads of content to keep you occupied playing Total War: Warhammer. Check out the content blog!

Creative director Mike Simpson said the race’s overwhelming popularity has led to the decision to offer it free for the first week.

“By extending the deadline for getting them for free by a week, we can ensure loyal fans who don’t feel like pre-ordering don’t miss out, while still rewarding early adopters whose support is really valuable to us.”

Total War: Warhammer will be released on May 24th, so do the right thing and let chaos rain over your PC and pre-order!
