A lot was revealed at last night’s Fantasy Fantasy XV Uncovered Event. Square Enix officially announced that Final Fantasy XV will launch worldwide on September 30 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, confirming the leak from yesterday. Also, the new platinum demo has been released and there will be two different types of collector’s edition: the Deluxe Edition and the Ultimate Edition. Both include a CG movie but the ultimate edition also features an additional prequel anime series. To see what each version contains take a look below.
An Ultimate Collector’s Edition, limited to 30,000 units worldwide, will be available for $269.99, include a hardcover art book, a soundtrack, an exclusive Play Arts Kai Noctis figure, plus the same bonus content as the Deluxe Edition and four in-game item packs.
A Deluxe Edition will be available for $89.99 and include steelbook packaging, as well as a bonus outfit, weapon and skin for Noctis’ car.
The Final Fantasy XV Ultimate Collector’s Edition sold out within the first hour of going live. However, the store is still offering a spot on a waiting list, meaning there may still be more units available. If you were like me, you are one of the lucky ones who pre-ordered in time. Will you be picking up Final Fantasy XV? If so which one?
