Two New DLC Characters Are Heading to Dragon Ball FighterZ

Bandai Namco have confirmed that the two new DLC characters, Fused Zamasu and SSGSS Blue Vegito, will both be arriving simultaneously in Dragon Ball FighterZ next week on May 31st. The news was announced via their US Twitter account.

The two characters will be available with the FighterZ pass, which costs around £30/$35 and includes other characters, Broly and Bardock from the first DLC pack. Both fighters will most likely be available to purchase individually and players should also be able to buy them with the in-game currency, Zeni.

It was revealed that Fused Zamasu would be joining the Dragon Ball FighterZ roster at the end of last month. The character is a fusion between Goku Black and Future Zamasu through the use of the Potara earrings. He’s a major antagonist of the “Future” Trunks Saga arc in the Dragon Ball Super anime.

Namco haven’t officially released the trailer for Super Saiyan Blue Vegito yet, however it was leaked a few weeks ago. Fans were eagerly awaiting the update on his release since then.

Vegito is the extremely powerful outcome of the fusion between Goku and Vegeta. Players will be able to recreate the battle from Dragon Ball Super between SSGSS Vegito and Fused Zamatsu from the 31st of May when both characters arrive.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is a 2.5D fighting game on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. It’s developed by Arc System Works. The same developers of fellow anime fighting game franchises Guilty Gear and BlazBlue. Bandai Namco published the title which launched back in January earlier this year.
