Call of Duty: WWII Officially Announced

Well, the leaks were spot on, Activision have announced the next game in the Call of Duty franchise, Call of Duty: WWII. This news hits us shortly after rumors were leaked that the next COD was heading back to its original roots.

Sledgehammer Games will helm the development of Call of Duty: WWII. The studio previously developed 2014’s Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, as well as assisting Infinity Ward on Modern Warfare 3. Co-studio heads and founders Michale Condrey and Glen Schofield previously worked at Visceral on the Dead Space series.


This will be the first time Call of Duty has been centered around WWII since Call of Duty: World at War.

Activision have announced more details will be released on Wednesday, April 26th during the Call of Duty: WWII Worldwide Reveal Livestream. We will keep you up to date with more information as it comes.
