A new trailer for Mass Effect: Andromeda has been shown at the Game Awards.
The trailer shows off many of Mass Effect’s new features as well as some old features. Combat this time around looks unbelievable, new skills and systems allow for much faster combat. A skill where a sniper was in a tower and he jumped to the tower to take the sniper out pronto was also one to look for. Massive mechs rained from the sky, and they immediately ripped into them with all guns blazing and abilities flying all over, it certainly looks the part.
The new crafting system looks impressive with the emphasis on finding, stealing and crafting materials yourself. The whole environment can be against you with different wildlife posing threats. A big gorilla-like animal, for instance, was shown in the video. Another thing that caught my eye was just how beautiful the whole environments and the game itself looked. Shields had a unique look to them, trees and water were beautiful all whilst zipping around on a massive 6 wheeled monster truck-type rover.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is certainly building up to be a beautiful game. No word on a release date yet, just Spring 2017, so stay tuned for more news.
