Volition, the developers that have brought us the Saints Row and Red Faction series have announced a brand new single player open world game called Agents of Mayhem.
IGN first broke the story earlier today, and some of the details announced shows that Volition are carrying on with the over the top, humour style gameplay we have become accustomed to with the Saints Row series.
From the announcement trailer there seems to be three playable characters in Agents of Mayhem. How this mechanic will work, as in whether or not it will be like GTA V and you can interchange your character at will, or if you choose which character to play as from the start has yet to be announced. In the trailer we see Fortune who is a ‘sky pirate’, Hardtack who was/is a commander in the US Navy, and lastly Hollywood who as you can probably guess is a self obsessed actor. These three heroes team up to fight the forces of the evil L.E.G.I.O.N.
Agents of Mayhem at the moment is scheduled for a 2017 release and will be available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Check out the launch trailer below.
