DC Universe Online Finally Makes Its Way Onto Xbox One

Originally launched way back in January of 2011, DC Universe Online finally makes its way onto Xbox One today, and so everyone who has been twiddling their thumbs for five years can finally rejoice.

The game tells the story of Lex Luthor traveling back in time and bestowing superhuman powers to everyone in order to help fight Brainiac and save humanity.

To celebrate the game’s launch, Daybreak Games has created three exclusive items free to download for Xbox One players: the Powered-Up Cape, Powered-Up Emblem, and Vapor Aura.

The game originally launched with middling to positive reviews, however, as it is free-to-play, their isn’t much reason not to give this one a go. Especially if many Xbox One gamers have never gotten into an MMO. There is, of course, an optional Legendary subscription which grants players access to all DLC among other in-game perks.

Xbox One players can find the game in the Xbox Store. PS4, PS3, and PC players already have access, and a planned OSX and Linux release is scheduled for later in the year.
