The Elder Scrolls Online: Imperial City DLC Launch Details Revealed

Bethesda Softworks and ZeniMax Online Studios have announced the launch details of the first DLC pack to arrive for The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited.

The DLC pack is called Imperial City and it will be available later this month on the PC/Mac PTS (Public Test Server) for free. The DLC is set to launch on the live servers on the 31st of August for PC/Mac, on the 15th of September for Xbox One and on the 16th of September for PlayStation 4.

The Imperial City refers to the capital of Cyrodiil also known as the Imperial Province, the setting for The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. The city has “fallen into ruin, claimed by Molag Bal’s forces” and you are trying to liberate it, either for its treasures or simply for glory as you battle both Molag Bal’s forces and other players.

The trailer promises a mix of PvE and PvP, new items, weapons and armor, and two new 4-player dungeons. The official announcement also reveals a new public PvP dungeon, Treasure Vaults, DLC-exclusive collectibles and more.

As far as price goes, the Imperial City game pack will be included in the ESO Plus membership. For people who don’t have the Plus membership the DLC will be available for 2500 Crowns in the ESOTU Crown Store. To make an idea of what the price will be in real money, 3000 Crowns cost around 21.
