Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 tops UK Charts for sixth consecutive week

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 has kept its place at the top of the UK Video Game Chart this week, which has now meant that the game has enjoyed being top of the pile for six consecutive weeks.

Black Ops 3’s dominance of the charts puts it level with FIFA 15 for the most consecutive weeks at number one, with EA’s football title securing six weeks straight at the top back in 2014. If Black Ops 3 retains its place at number one next week, it will go break the record as having the longest run at the top in succession.

Elsewhere, GTA 5 continues to perform strongly, rising two places to take the No.2 spot, while FIFA 16 slips to number No.3. The rest of the top 5 is made up of Star Wars: Battlefront and Rainbow Six Siege which are placed No.4 and No.5 respectively.

However, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate drops 15 places from No.9 to No.24 after seeing a 72% drop in sales.

Here’s the UK Video Game Chart Top 10

  1. Call of Duty: Black Ops 3
  2. Grand Theft Auto V
  3. FIFA 16
  4. Star Wars: Battlefront
  5. Rainbow Six: Siege
  6. Just Cause 3
  7. WWE 2K16
  8. Fallout 4
