New Heartland Expansion Announced for State of Decay 2, and It’s Out Now

Microsoft Game Studios has announced that State of Decay 2 is getting a brand new piece of DLC that has been dubbed the game’s ‘biggest expansion yet’.

State of Decay 2: Heartland takes place in the setting of the first game, Trumbull Valley, and follows the story of two different survivors as they attempt to survive in the zombie-infested towns and countryside.

As well as adding two new storylines and characters, Heartland will also include a number of new weapons and enemies for players to experience.

Despite being just announced at E3 2019, State of Decay 2: Heartland is available to download and play right now on Xbox One and PC for £8.39. State of Decay 2, as well as its new Heartland expansion, are also both available on Microsoft’s Game Pass subscription service.

Microsoft also revealed new details about the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which includes access to 100+ titles, as well coming bundled with an Xbox Live Gold Subscription.
