Call of Duty: WWII will be getting a beta on PC, Activision has confirmed.
There were concerns that PC gamers would miss out on a beta, with players on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One who have pre-ordered a copy of the game gaining access to the closed multiplayer beta over the next week.
Speaking on Reddit, Head of development at Sledgehammer Games Michael Condrey responded to a question asking for a PC beta by saying, “Yes, coming.” With regards to the PC beta, that’s pretty much all we know so far. No date was given, but it seems plausible that with the betas on console due to start soon and the game releasing in early November, PC gamers may get a taste of Call of Duty: WWII next month.
Users on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One who have already pre-ordered a copy of Call of Duty: WWII will get to take part in the private multiplayer beta soon, with PlayStation 4 users gaining access on August 25th, while Xbox One players don’t get in until September 1st. Unfortunately, this round of testing excludes PC pre-orders.
Stay tuned for more news regarding a PC beta. Hopefully, it won’t be long until we know more!
