April’s Xbox Live Games With Gold Announced

Done playing Evolve yet? Have you even gotten it yet? If not, Xbox One owners, you won’t have long until the April Games With Gold are unleashed and your chances at getting Evolve for free are gone forever.

Worry not, though, because Microsoft have revealed April’s line-up, and it’s not a disappointing one.

First up is Xbox One launch title Ryse: Son of Rome, a linear action game but a brilliantly brutal one. You also get season two of Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead, an essential addition if you played through the first season but begrudge paying for the second.

Xbox 360 owners and also backwards compatibility enthusiasts get Darksiders, kind-of like God of War and Zelda mashed up with an apocalyptic twist. Later in April you also get Assassin’s Creed: Revelations which was the third Assassin’s Creed game to feature the most famous assassin of the series, Ezio Auditore.

The full schedule for April’s Games With Gold availability follows below.

Xbox One

Ryse: Son of Rome (April 1-30)

The Walking Dead: Season Two (April 16-May 15)

Xbox 360

Darksiders (April 1-15)

Assassin’s Creed: Revelations (April 16-30)
