Tatsumi Kimishima Becomes New Nintendo President

Tatsumi Kimishima, the former President of Nintendo of America, has now been announced as the overall President of Nintendo.

After the sad passing of Satoru Iwata, there has been much speculation about who would succeed the great CEO. Many believed that it would be Shigeru Miyamoto or Genyo Takeda since they took over the company while a shift in organization occurred.

Miyamoto and Takeda will still have positions in the conduct of the company but Kimishima is now the head of Nintendo, and he comes with experience. Having many head positions in the Pokemon company and being with Nintendo in times of greatness, such as the Gamecube era, Kimishima is no stranger to what Nintendo stands for. Hopefully he will be able to maintain the legacy that Satoru Iwata was able to help create.
