VR Space game Adr1ft releasing on PC on March 28

Adr1ft, a first-person virtual reality space experience, will be available on PC on March 28, developer Three One Zero has announced.

The game puts players in the shoes of an astronaut stranded on a space station which has been destroyed. The aim is to escape the space station and make it back to home by fixing up the damaged emergency escaped vehicle. It will be one of the first games available to play on the Oculus Rift and is described by the developers as an “experience”.

There will be two versions of the game available, a VR version available on the Oculus Rift and a non-VR version which will be available through Steam. Adr1ft is set to release on PS4 and Xbox One “shortly after” the PC release although no actual date has been given yet. However there hasn’t been any confirmation yet on whether or not Adr1ft will be available on the PlayStation VR when that releases, although it would be surprising if it wasn’t due to the game’s big pull being virtual-reality.
