Epic Games has teased the latest weapon making its way to Fortnite: Battle Royale, the Heavy Sniper rifle.
Since the game launched, there’s a been a huge demand from fans of the game for a Fortnite Heavy Sniper rifle to make an appearance in the popular Battle Royale mode. Thankfully, gamers won’t have to wait too much longer before they can get their hands on the Heavy Sniper which is expected to be officially added to Fortnite this Tuesday.
According to Epic Games, the Heavy Sniper will be an Epic and Legendary weapon and will be capable of dealing high damage to structures and, of course, other players.

If reports are to be believed, the Heavy Sniper will be able to shoot through most objects and materials in just one shot, including wood, brick and steel walls. Last month, someone data-mined Fortnite and found reference to a Heavy Sniper rifle which appeared to be capable of shooting through walls in one shot.
As for how much damage it will cause other players, we’ll have to wait for the Heavy Sniper to be released into the game first. However, it seems likely that it will be a one-shot kill if it hits most parts of the body, if not all.
