Possible Major Villain Leaked for Marvel’s Spider-Man PS4?

Chris Jai Alex, the voice actor who plays Rhino in Insomniac’s upcoming Marvel’s Spider-Man on PlayStation 4, may have mistakenly leaked one of the game’s major villains.

Warning! This article may contain spoilers.

Chris was speaking to the popular Call of Duty YouTuber known as Drift0r in an interview at E3 2018. This took place so Drift0r could ask Chris questions on Black Ops 4, this years’ Call of Duty entry, since he’s the multiplayer announcer. It led to the pair speaking about the new Spider-Man title.

During the conversation, Chris spoke about a fight scene in the game whilst letting slip by a mention of the involvement of Doctor Octopus. This leads us to believe that Doc Ock will play a major role in the title.

Drift0r removed the video from his channel, most likely due to the leak, but here’s a short clip from YouTube:

Chris Jai Alex has done voice acting for other major gaming titles, including Titanfall 2, XCOM 2, Xenoblade Chronicles X and Killer Instinct. He’s also voiced English dubbed anime, such as One Punch Man, Hunter x Hunter and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.

Marvel’s Spider-Man is a PlayStation 4 exclusive developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony. The title is going to feature a story that isn’t tied to any existing comic book, film or television series. Some other villains that have been confirmed include Rhino, Scorpion, Vulture and Mr. Negative.

Marvel’s Spider-Man is scheduled to release worldwide on September 7th, 2018.
