NEWS: State of Play Presentation to Air Tomorrow at 5pm EST

Folks, PlayStation fans and State of Play fans are gonna’ be happy today.

In case you just logged on recently and don’t already know, let’s get you up to speed.

There’s a new State of Play tomorrow at 5pm EST, 2pm PST, etc. It will last 40 minutes. The State of Play presentation will focus on news about and updates on new and upcoming PS5 games.

Here’s the tweet link.

There are so many potential games and/or collections that could come out of this 40-minute+ State of Play tomorrow. According to this image we found on X, the presentation will be at least 40 minutes long, be broadcast on both YouTube and Twitch, and be broadcast in both English and Japanese.

40+ minute State of Play?!
The length of the State of Play is 40+ minutes.

Now, some people mentioned the possibility (rumor) of a God of War: Greek collection for PS5. Still, others are hoping for either Persona 6, Dragon Quest XII, or Kingdom Hearts IV.

As much as those particular three titles mentioned making any appearances in the State of Play would generate so much hype, they’re kinda’ unrealistic. Still, though, with live service games failing for Sony, and with Concord being such a flop that it shut down 2 weeks after release and cost them hundreds of millions of dollars, those three titles are much more realistic than – say, Hollow Knight: Silksong getting a full release date. And Sony usually does save their biggest announcements for last at these State of Play presentations, much like Nintendo normally does during their Directs.

Keep it here at Gaming Respawn for the latest updates on the State of Play, as well as a State of Play round up article recapping all notable announcements.
