ISLANDERS: Console Edition will be playable on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S through backwards compatibility and will be priced at $4.99 USD, €4.99, ,£4.49, ¥549 SRP across all platforms.

“Making ISLANDERS was always about bringing city building to new audiences, so we’re thrilled to release the game on console for new budding island constructors (Console Players) to give it a try. We wanted to make a cozy, relaxing strategy game and we can’t wait for people to be able to play ISLANDERS from the comfort of the couch” Friedemann Allmenröder – Co-founder GrizzlyGames.

For those who don’t know, in ISLANDERS: Console Edition, the player builds cities on colourful islands with simple and intuitive building mechanics. You have the freedom to create your own cities on the rugged cliffs of the game’s islands in half an hour or less.

Build your city by placing buildings in the most ergonomic way to earn points, reach the score target to build more (and cooler!) stuff.

Make your way through the distinct procedurally generated islands, from lush green grasslands to dry deserts and snowy mountainscapes, while also expanding your settlements from sprawling villages to vast cities.

Fail to hit your island’s target….then kiss that island goodbye and start again.

It’s only your guilt you have to live with for destroying countless islands. You can watch the trailer down below.
