Fallout 4 DLC revealed along with Season Pass price increase

Bethesda has announced the first three pieces of DLC for Fallout 4 which will be heading to the game in March, April and May along with revealing that the Season Pass will increase in price to reflect its DLC plan.The three pieces of DLC which have been announced are Automatron, Wasteland Workshop and Far Harbor.

Automatron will be available in March and will cost £7.99. The DLC will see players battling against a hordeof evil robots which have been unleashed into the Commonwealth by a mysterious Mechanist. Players are able to hunt down the robots and harvest their parts to build and mod your very own robot companions. Players will be able to choose and customise their robots from hundreds of mods as well as mixing limbs, armor, abilities, and weapons. Players can also customise their paint schemes and choose their voices.

Wasteland Workshop releases in April and will offer players new items to design and customise their settlements with, including cages which allow you to capture live creatures such as raiders and Deathclaws. Not only that, but you can choose to tame them or make them fight each other to the death or turn them against your own settlers.

The third DLC announced is Far Harbor which comes out in May. Far Harbor will take players to the mysterious island of Far Harbor as player’s take on a new case from Valentine’s Detective Agency in the search for a young woman and a secret colony of synths. Player’s must navigate through the growing conflict between the synths, the Children of Atom, and the local townspeople. Far Harbor also features the largest landmass for an add-on that Bethesda have created and is filled with new faction quests, settlements, lethal creatures and dungeons.

The season pass will also be increasing from £24.99 to £39.99 to reflect the amount of content heading to Fallout 4. The price increase will take place on March 1, however anyone who purchases the season pass between now and then will still get everything for just £24.99. Anyone who has purchased the season pass previously at the current price will still receive all future DLC at no extra cost.

In addition to announcing its DLC plan, Bethesda also stated that they are working on a number of free updates for Fallout 4, including an overhaul of Survival Mode so that it changes how you play the whole game by adding food, sleep, diseases, danger and more.
