The Sweetest Four-Player Party Game, Cake Bash, Launching October 15th

Developers High Tea Frog and publisher Coatsink are excited to announce that Cake Bash is launching on October 15th for the PlayStation 4, Steam, Stadia and Xbox One. It will also be compatible with the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Don’t worry for those who only have a Nintendo Switch though, you aren’t forgotten. The Nintendo Switch version needs a little more time in the oven to ensure the sweetest experience possible and will be launching on Nintendo Switch before the end of the year.

‘We’ve worked hard to capture the joy from the special games we loved as children, and absolutely can’t wait to see players enjoying Cake Bash soon!” – Laura Hutton, Co-Founder – High Tea Frog

Cake Bash will be priced at $19.99/ £20/ SRP across all platforms. You can watch the release date trailer down below:

For those who aren’t familiar with this tasty treat of a game, here’s a little reminder of what this game is. In Cake Bash, you fight to be the tastiest cake, it’s a frantic four-player party game where adorable drawn-to-life cakes beat the crumbs out of each other! Pick your favourite cake and battle in a variety of lifelike places with unique goals – cover yourself in sweeties or hurl fruit into a pie, there’s plenty for everyone!

This would be a fun party game to add to the roster where you can try an assortment of mini-game treats – roast perfect marshmallows, be the last flan standing in Fork Knife or pipe the finest frosting. Buy delicious toppings in a series of games to be the chosen one. Guide your cakes through the bakery as they dress to impress the customer in Get Tasty!

Compete on the same screen, find challengers online or battle well-baked bots. It’s time to get out of the oven and into the fray!

Cake Bash looks like it’ll be one of those games everyone can enjoy playing, even if it’s just a relaxing gaming session.
