Street Fighter V: Champion Edition Announced, Gill Joins the Roster

Capcom has announced that a new version of Street Fighter V will launch in 2020 titled ‘Street Fighter V: Champion Edition’. Releasing February 14th, 2020, this will be the “most robust version” yet, including all 40 characters, 34 stages and over 200 costumes.

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition will include every character and stage currently available for Street Fighter V and Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition at a $29.99 price point; however, it will not include brand collaborative costumes, Fighting Chance costumes or Capcom Pro Tour content. Capcom will allow other existing Street Fighter V owners to upgrade to Champion Edition for $24.99.

To coincide with this announcement, a trailer for Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike’s Gill has been released, who will join Street Fighter V in December 2019.

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition will launch February 14th, 2020 for PlayStation 4 and PC. The ‘Upgrade Kit’ is available for existing Street Fighter V players now. Street Fighter V originally released February 16th, 2016, with the Arcade Edition releasing January 16th, 2018.
