Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be hosting a Spirit Board event with a very special theme…Tetris. The event starts tonight at 11 p.m and will last for five days. During that time, players will be able to acquire five new spirits, each a Tetramino.

It has been a long time coming for Tetris to get representation in Super Smash Bros. Although it’s not a new representative (give us L-Block, please) or a stage, it is still nice to see and well deserved.
Tetris 99 has been a big hit on Nintendo Switch, with this past week announcing a new Luigi’s Mansion 3- themed event.
