Red Dead Redemption 2 PC and Stadia Releases Coming Next Month

Last month, Rockstar Games mysteriously launched their very own games launcher on PC, leading many to speculate that the announcement of a PC release of their 2018 award-winning hit Red Dead Redemption 2 was imminent. Today, the studio has officially announced the PC release alongside a plethora of special editions and more.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will be releasing on PC on November 5th, 2019 via the Rockstar Games Launcher. This release will include “a range of graphical and technical enhancements for increased immersion along with new Bounty Hunting Missions, Gang Hideouts, Weapons and more”. The PC release of Red Dead Redemption 2 will also include the Red Dead Online multiplayer mode. Those purchasing through the Rockstar Games Launcher will also have the option to claim two free Rockstar games, including Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (which is currently free for all users), Bully: Scholarship Edition, L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition and Max Payne 3: The Complete Edition.

In addition to this, Rockstar has also confirmed that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be among the launch titles on Google Stadia starting next month, making the title available to purchase and stream via Google devices. The standard PC version will also be available to purchase via the Epic Games Store, the Humble Store, Greenman Gaming and GameStop before launch, with a Steam release coming later in December.

Red Dead Redemption 2 released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 26th, 2018 to massive critical and commercial acclaim, becoming the second biggest entertainment launch of all time, second only to Rockstar’s own Grand Theft Auto V. Red Dead Redemption 2 launches on PC on November 5t,h 2019 and Google Stadia later that month, and Rockstar has confirmed that more information on the PC release, such as specifications and screenshots, will be revealed on October 9th.
