Wolfenstein: Youngblood Release Date Announced

Bethesda has announced that Wolfenstein: Youngblood will be releasing on July 26th on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC and Nintendo Switch.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood was first unveiled at E3 2018 and will focus on the story of Jess and Soph Blazkowicz, the twin daughters of BJ Blazkowicz, as they search for their missing father. As it’s a Wolfenstein game, you can still expect the same high-octane Nazi killing fun we’ve come to love the series for.

In addition to the release date, Bethesda also revealed some new details regarding the game, specifically co-op play. Players can team up with a friend to play through the campaign; however, gamers who purchase the Deluxe Edition of the game will be able to invite one friend to play with them online using the game’s new Buddy Pass. This means that you can play with a friend who does not own the game for free. As expected though, they will still need to purchase a full copy of the game if they want to play with their own friends or continue the campaign at their own pace.

If playing with a friend isn’t your thing, you’ll be able to experience the game by having the AI take control of the other twin sister.

For those looking at grabbing Wolfenstein: Youngblood on PC, there’s also good news as Bethesda announced recently that they would be bringing the game to Steam instead of making it only available exclusively through their launcher, which had been thought of as a possibility. Rage 2 and Doom Eternal were among other Bethesda games releasing over the next year that will also be coming to Steam.
