Spyro Reignited Trilogy Delayed

The Spyro Reignited Trilogy has been delayed until November 13th, developer Toys for Bob has announced in a blog post.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy had originally been planned to release on September 21st for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. However, as a result of the delay, Spyro fans will now have to wait an extra few more months before exploring the Dragon Realms, Avalar and the Forgotten Worlds.

According to the developer, they have decided to push back the release of Spyro Reignited Trilogy as the game needs some more “love and care” in order to get the game ready for a public release.

In a statement, Co-Studio Head of developer Toys for Bob, Paul Yan, stated, “Everyone here at Toys for Bob is so proud to be reigniting the original Spyro trilogy after all these years.”

“We’re deeply committed to getting these games right, so we’ve decided to move the release date of Spyro Reignited Trilogy to November 13th, 2018. I really hoped that you would be rescuing dragons and scorching Rhynocs sooner, but the Trilogy needs more love and care.”

Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a remake of the first three Spyro PlayStation titles and brings them into the modern era of gaming. Specifically, the trilogy will include remasters of Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage! and Spyro: Year of the Dragon.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy releases on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 13th.
