Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Multiplayer Beta Trailer

The official Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Multiplayer Beta trailer launched yesterday which showcased some of the new exciting features the upcoming title has to offer.

The beta will feature brand new weapons, equipment and ”devastating scorestreaks”, along with 10 Specialists. These are playable characters that debuted in Black Ops III. Each Specialist has a unique personality, along with unique weapons and abilities. This differs from the generic multiplayer soldiers in previous Call of Duty titles.

The beta will offer players a choice of 6 multiplayer modes to play on 6 different maps. These include the staple Call of Duty modes, such as Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, and Search & Destroy. Fans will also be able to try the new objective-based game mode Control. This features teams alternating between attacking and defending two objectives.

The new trailer also provides Call of Duty fans with a sneak peek at the much-anticipated Blackout, Treyarch’s brand new battle royale-style game mode. Unfortunately, this will not be playable in the upcoming multiplayer beta; however, players will be able to give it a try in the separate Blackout beta which is expected to launch in September.

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 private multiplayer beta is only accessible to players who have pre-ordered a copy of the game. Xfinity internet customers in the US will also be able to join the action.
