Nier: Automata Heading to Xbox One Later This Month

Xbox One owners finally get a chance to “become as gods”, as Nier: Automata makes its way to Microsoft’s console later this month.

Square Enix announced earlier today that the critically acclaimed action RPG by PlatinumGames will be releasing on June 26th. The Nier: Automata- Become as Gods Edition will retail at $49.99 (roughly £40.00) and will include the base game, previously released DLC and a couple of new exclusive extras.

The announcement marks Square Enix’s first E3 announcement ahead of its live show tomorrow, June 11th at 10AM PT and 1PM ET. The Nier: Automata- Become as Gods Edition is available for pre-order now. A year after its initial release, the game remains one of the best narratives in video games and my personal favourite game of 2017. The game’s release on Xbox One gives many gamers who never got the chance to play the game before the opportunity to finally see what PS4 and Steam users got to experience a year ago (remember, if you’re planning on playing Automata, remember that the first ending is far, far from truly being the end of the game).
