New Exhibit Featuring Video Games to Come to London’s Victoria and Albert Museum This September

The world’s largest museum of art and design will be getting a new exhibit featuring video games this September. The exhibit, entitled “Videogames: Design/Play/Disrupt”, will feature contemporary hits like The Last of Us and Splatoon. Alongside the more well known games will be such lesser known titles such as the exceedingly strange ‘How Do You Do It?’.

The exhibit will be exploring how the games were designed and will feature concept art and prototypes of each of the featured games. Also featured will be interesting pieces of game technology design, such as the arcade backpack from UCLA Game Lab, a portable arcade cabinet which stole the show during its debut in 2012.

Tickets are £18, and it is recommended that you book in advance to avoid disappointment.
