Assassin’s Creed: Origins Curse of the Pharaohs DLC Delayed

The final piece of DLC for Assassin’s Creed: Origins has been delayed, Ubisoft has announced.

The Curse of the Pharaohs expansion had been set to release on March 6th on all platforms; however, Ubisoft have opted to push back the release by a week so that they can “deliver the best experience possible.” As a result, the Curse of the Pharaohs will now be available on Tuesday, March 13th.

In the DLC, players embark upon a new adventure as they battle against a number of legendary Egyptian beasts and pharaohs as you try to learn why the dead are coming back to life. In addition to introducing a brand new storyline, Curse of the Pharaohs will also add new areas to the game, as well as new enemies, outfits, weapons and more. The level cap is also raised to 55.

To coincide with the release of the DLC, Ubisoft are also giving everyone a free quest called Light Among the Dunes which will be available on February 27th. The quest serves as a little introduction to the DLC.

The Curse of the Pharaohs DLC is included as part of the Assassin’s Creed: Origins season pass, so if you own that, you’re all set. If you don’t own the season pass, you’ll be able to purchase the DLC separately.

You can grab Assassin’s Creed: Origins right now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
