Batman: Arkham Knight made its way back onto Steam last week, however many players remain unhappy with the PC version of the game. As a result, Warner Bros. has announced that they will offer a full refund to anyone who is still unhappy with the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight on Steam.
Everyone who owns a copy of the game is eligible for a refund regardless of how long you have played the game for. In order to receive a Steam refund, you usually have to have owned the game for less than two weeks and have played a total of under 2 hours of playtime, however these requirements have been waived for Batman: Arkham Knight. In short, if you own the game and want a refund, you’ll get one regardless of how long you have owned or played the game for.
If you own a season pass, you will also be able to get a full refund for that, however that must be returned along with the main game. You won’t be able to keep the game and return the season pass for example.
“We are very sorry that many of our customers continue to be unhappy with the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight”, said Warner Bros. on Steam. “We worked hard to get the game to live up to the standard you deserve but understand that many of you are still experiencing issues.”
They continued, “Until the end of 2015, we will be offering a full refund on Batman: Arkham Knight PC, regardless of how long you have played the product. You can also return the Season Pass along with the main game (but not separately). For those of you that hold onto the game, we are going to continue to address the issues that we can fix and talk to you about the issues that we cannot fix.”
You will only be able to receive a refund if you purchased your copy of Batman: Arkham Knight via Steam. If you purchased a retail copy or a key from sites such as G2A, you will not be able to receive a refund however.
