Augmented Empire Developer, Coat Sink, Releases Cast Documentary

Blending stunning visuals and turn-based action, Augmented Empire brings a cyberpunk tale of disparity and hope to VR. Coat Sink released Augmented Empire exclusively for the Samsung VR back in July, and they are pleased to release a mini-documentary featuring its cast, which includes the voice talents of Kate Mulgrew, Nick Frost, and Doug Cockles.

“The whole team’s extremely proud of what we achieved with Augmented Empire and thrilled with the passion and talent of the actors involved.” — Jon Davies, Narrative Designer

“In 2058, New Savannah is a city divided. On the verge of her ascension, the world of top-tier citizen Willa Thorne comes crashing down. Now the poster-child of civil obedience must lead a team of misfits and criminals to survive. From the armchair of your secluded hideout, control your team in ‘augmented reality’ to overthrow the corrupt elite.”

Augmented Empire is out now on Samsung Gear VR on for $9.99, £7.99 and €9.99. You can read our full review of Augmented Empire here.
