Bethesda Hiring for The Elder Scrolls 6?

Could exciting things be happening at Bethesda? We ask this because a total of 20 new roles are being advertised at Bethesda Game Studios.

Experience with ‘The Elder Scrolls Construction Set’, ‘Creation Kit’ and ‘Geck’ are some of the ‘desired skills’ Bethesda would like you to have if you were to apply for one of the jobs. These skills are considered a plus for roles such as: Quest Designer, Level Designer and Programming Contractor.

Upcoming Bethesda releases Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus and The Evil Within 2 are due to be released in October 2017, and unless Bethesda are highly unorganised, it seems unlikely that they will be introducing new roles so late into those games’ developments.

Historically, Bethesda have released The Elder Scrolls and Fallout titles alternately: The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, March 2006; Fallout 3, October 2008; The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, November 2011; and so on. Their most recent release, Fallout 4, came out in 2015, and here’s hoping that the sequence will continue. With 20 new roles, there’s certainly a lot of momentum and focus aimed at a BIG project.
