Motorsport Manager Getting New Challenge Pack DLC and Free Update Later This Month

Fans of Motorsport Manager will be pleased to hear that Playsport Games have announced that the game will be receiving another piece of DLC later this month, alongside a free update for everyone.

The DLC Challenge Pack and free accompanying update will be released on August 21st. While the “Devil’s in the Detail” update will be available for free to all owners of Motorsport Manager, the DLC Challenge Pack will cost £5.99, although there’s a 10% discount on offer for those who pre-order.

As the name suggests, the Challenge Pack will introduce 12 brand new gameplay challenges for players to complete, all of which are “inspired by events from the history of Motorsport.”  Challenges will vary in difficulty with each one getting tougher. Each completion of a challenge will also grant players with a new in-game reward.

Three such challenges include Sprinkler Savvy, Up in Flames and From the Ashes.

Sprinkler Savvy
This season’s controversial introduction of race sprinklers has taken most of the teams by surprise. Often a back-of-the-table team, an adaptable driver and a respectable pit crew has meant that Dragon Race Team have lucked into first place on the Team’s Championship. With one race left, Dragon only need to get a podium position to solidify the standings and win their first ever Team Championship title.

Up in Flames
The 2016 season has taken a horrific turn for the worst at Scuderia Rossini. During the tenth race, their star driver Wexler was involved in a serious crash and sustained dozens of life threatening burns! He’s in the infirmary for the next few races: can Rossini get everything ready for his triumphant return?

From the Ashes
Things were looking great for Windsor Racing this year: a good car, excellent support staff and some of the best drivers in the series. That was until, after just four races into the season, their design centre burnt down. Now, unable to build any new car parts for the season, Windsor need to try and win the championship.

The free update, on the other hand, will add a range of community requests, including save/load setups, run wides and weight stripping.
