FIFA 18 Reveal Set for June 5th

FIFA 18 will be officially revealed for the first time tomorrow on June 5th, EA Sports has announced.

EA updated their cover photo and made a status on Facebook revealing that gamers will be able to get their first glimpse of “The World’s Game” tomorrow, although no specific time has been specified at the time of writing.

It looks likely that it will be a teaser trailer that is released tomorrow as EA also told people on their Facebook page to subscribe to their YouTube channel. Following on from the reveal, we can expect to get a more in-depth look at the new features coming to FIFA 18 at EA Play.

Of course, E3 2017 kicks off in LA on June 13th until June 15th; however, EA won’t be in attendance as they have their own event, EA Play, which takes place later this month between June 10th and June 12th.

As well as showcasing FIFA 18, EA Play will also showcase other games, such as Madden NFL 18, NBA Live 18 and Star Wars: Battlefront II. EA have also confirmed that there will be news on a version of FIFA for the Nintendo Switch.

As for a release date, we expect FIFA 18 to release at the end of September, as is normally the case. FIFA’s main rival, PES 2018, was announced a few weeks ago by Konami and will be releasing on PS4, Xbox One and PC on September 14th, although it has been common for the past few years for PES to launch two weeks before FIFA.
