Here’s the Star Wars: Battlefront PC Specs, can you run it?

The Star Wars: Battlefront PC system requirements have been released by EA ahead of the games beta which starts this Thursday.

The good news is that anyone with at least a gaming rig, even at the lower end should at least be able to run Battlefront to some capacity, but let’s not mistake the fact that Battlefront is going to be a demanding game. A GTX 660 or a Radeon HD 7850 graphics card is required as a minimum along with a beefy 8GB of RAM. The recommended system requirements list a GTX 970 4GB as ideal. The game will also be a 40GB install.

Here are the system requirements listed on the games page on the Origin Store:

Minimum PC System Requirements

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 7 or later
  • Processor (Intel): Intel i3 6300T or equivalent
  • Memory: 8GB RAM
  • Hard Drive: At least 40 GB of free space
  • Graphics card (NVIDIA): nVidia GeForce GTX 660 2GB
  • Graphics card (ATI): ATI Radeon HD 7850 2GB
  • DirectX: 11.0 Compatible video card or equivalent
  • Online Connection Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection

Recommended PC System Requirements

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 10 or later
  • Processor (Intel): Intel i5 6600 or equivalent
  • Memory: 16GB RAM
  • Hard Drive: At least 40 GB of free space

  • Graphics card (AMD): AMD Radeon R9 290 4GB
  • DirectX: 11.1 Compatible video card or equivalent
  • Online Connection Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection

Hopefully the demand for a high-end rig for the recommended system requirements gives hope that those with top  machines will experience a visual masterclass. I guess we will find out more come Thursday, with Star Wars Battlefront set to officially release on November 13.
