PES 2016 Roster Update not coming until October 29

One of my biggest annoyances with PES 2016 and Konami was the fact that they couldn’t even update the squad rosters in-time for the games release. Unfortunately, that annoyance continues as Konami has announced that the offline game mode rosters won’t be updated until October 29, with online rosters for online modes receiving an update on October 1st.

However myClub rosters won’t be updated until the later date of October 29 with the rest of the rosters, despite all the other online modes being updated on October 1st.

“We would first like to apologize for the delay in this announcement as we want to assure you that we have tried to exhaust all possible options to provide you with the updates as soon as possible,” said Konami.

From October 1st, Live Updates will be available for Online Divisions, Friendly Match Lobby, Team Play Lobby, Online Competition and Quick Match. Konami say that the update won’t just update the stats of players based on their weekly performance but will allow you to play using the fully updated team roster.

Despite being able to update the rosters for online play on October 1st, everyone else will need to wait until October 29th, nearly a whole month later to be able to play with the latest squads in offline modes such as Master League, Become A Legend and online mode myClub.

The October 29th update will also include new teams such as Galatasaray, APOEL and Maccabi Tel Aviv. New player faces, boots and balls will also be included.

Konami as always, going above and beyond!
