Mass Effect: Andromeda PC System Requirements Will Be Revealed Within Two Weeks

With Mass Effect: Andromeda being just a month away from releasing, BioWare have revealed that they will announce the PC system requirements for Mass Effect: Andromeda within the next two weeks.

Speaking on Twitter, Lead Designer Ian S. Frazier replied to a question asking for news on the PC system requirements for Mass Effect: Andromeda, to which he responded by stating that the studio will be revealing them within the next two weeks.

If you’re unsure how well your system will be able to run Mass Effect: Andromeda, it will probably be a good idea to hold off pre-ordering the game until BioWare reveal the system requirements shortly.

While BioWare haven’t discussed the PC requirements, we do expect them to be pretty standard with 8GB RAM being what you should ideally be aiming for along with a GTX 960 or above if you’re looking for anything above medium graphic settings and performance.

With that said, Ubisoft’s For Honor game only required 4GB RAM along with a GTX 660 as a minimum to be able to run the game. Of course, Mass Effect: Andromeda takes place in a much larger world, so expect the minimum requirements to be above this. If they’re not, bonus.

Although Mass Effect: Andromeda isn’t being called an open-world game, rather an “exploration game” by BioWare, Ghost Recon: Wildlands for comparison requires 6GB RAM, GTX 660 and a Intel Core i5-2400S  2.5 GHz processor as minimum requirements.

Mass Effect: Andromeda releases on PS4, Xbox One and PC on March 21st.
