External Hard Drives Finally Supported for PS4

Finally, just over three years since the launch, Sony have announced that the PlayStation 4 will support External Hard Drives. Forever gone will be the infuriating struggle of having to decide which game to delete from your library to make room for the latest title, and with up to 8TB supported, your games collection will be pleased indeed, even if your bank account won’t be.

The support will come in the next PS4 system update, which is available for beta testers at the moment. As well as the support for External Hard Drives, custom wallpapers will now be available to use, so all those gorgeous screenshots can actually be put to use. 3D Blu-Ray support will also be added for the PlayStation VR.

It is a welcome feature, but what the hell has taken so damn long, Sony?
