Nintendo Switch Game Cases Shown in Revealing Tweet

Some places have already had pre-orders for Nintendo Switch and Switch games, and Japan has some final release boxes displayed already. It seems photos of several Nintendo Switch game cases have made it onto Twitter, giving us our first real look at the games that are expected to release some time in March. We already have seen some cases, but to actually see them in someone’s hands, it’s a completely different story.

Twitter user Gaijinhunter visited a Japanese game store some time this week, where plenty of Nintendo Switch game cases were already on the shelves, and  took photos of them. He showed off the Japanese box art for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Bomberman R, Disgaea 5 Complete, Dragon Quest Heroes I+II, Puyo Puyo Tetris, I Am Setsuna, 1-2-Switch and Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII. The insides of the cases were also shown, and they are used for promotional information and art for the games themselves.

Gaijinhunter also took photos of the PlayStation Portable cases for comparison. The Switch game boxes are slightly wider, shorter, and thinner than the PSP cases. Both are cast in the same clear plastic, but besides that the slick cases are practically similar.

With the Nintendo Switch launching on March 3rd, 2017 worldwide, this is a useful aid for gamers who are already preparing room on their shelves for Switch.
