Enter the Gungeon Resupplied With Free Update

Gungeoneers, rejoice! It looks like the fast-paced guntastic puntastic bullet-hell dungeon-crawling dodge-rolling roguelike Enter the Gungeon just got a little bit bigger. Launched earlier today, the free Supply Drop update brings with it a raft of new content and features, such as over 100 new rooms and more than 20 new weapons and items. I mean, who doesn’t want a gun shaped like a bullet that shoots guns which in turn shoot bullets?

There’s also some extra NPCs to assist you, such as exotic goods peddler Doug, as well as even more bad guys to shoot it out with, including an all-new boss known as the Mine Flayer. Plus, developer Dodge Roll have now given the secret characters Robot and Bullet their own unique pasts and finally added in the very welcome ability to save and exit between floors.

Lastly, for the hardcore Gungeoneer, they’ve introduced an unlockable Challenge Mode, which generates random restrictions and modifiers as you progress through the Gungeon, making the game much harder.

Exciting stuff, I think I’ll have a go later! Oh, and there’s currently 50% off on Steam as part of this week’s Weekend Deal.  You can read my enthusiastic review of Enter the Gungeon here.
