Star Citizen, the huge, ambitious space simulator is free-to-play until October 30th.
Star Citizen is known for its mammoth kickstarter campaign raising over $100,000,000.
To access this event, you first need to setup or log into your RSI account. Once logged in you will be able to use the code “FALL2016” which will let you download and play Star Citizen. All this can be done on the promotion page HERE.
Everyone who participates in the free-to-play period gets access to an F7C-M Super Hornet (pictured above). Its ship page describes it as “the closest to the Military load-out as is legally possible for a Civilian model,” which makes it sound like its toting some serious firepower. It has a passenger seat, so you’ll be able to split up combat and flight duties with another player.
Star Citizen has been around for a long time, and we have yet to see any sort of release date.
