The Division delayed to 2016

The Division has been delayed to 2016 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, Ubisoft has announced. The game had initially been slated for a 2014 release before being pushed back to 2015 and now has been delayed further.

Ubisoft are now targeting a release during Q4 of it’s 2016 Financial Year which runs from January 1, 2016 to March 31, 2016.

Speaking about the delay, CEO Yves Guillemot stated, “It is never an easy decision to move launch dates, but we are committed to make decisions that will benefit the players, As I said in my introduction, this is our most important driver as it has always benefitted the company in the long run.”

No reason has been given for the delay however Ubisoft recently added another development studio to help boost The Division’s development.
