Red Dead Redemption
Rockstar’s hugely popular open-world Western has been one of the most requested games for backwards compatibility since the feature was announced at E3 2015, and after months of rumours, speculation, and anticipation, Xbox One gamers will finally be able to step back into the shoes of protagonist John Marston once again.
There were rumours that Red Dead Redemption was to be released on Xbox One back in February after it was publicly featured briefly but was quickly taken down by Microsoft. It turns out that they were testing an early version of the game and accidentally made it publicly available.
To be able to add the game to your library, all you need to do is insert your Red Dead Redemption disc into your Xbox One where it will be added to your library and made playable.
In addition to Red Dead Redemption, you can expect Bloodforge, Go! Go! Break Steady, GripShift, and Mars: War Logs to all be added to the backwards compatibility library on Friday.
