Our very own Will Worrall has taken a look at a very interesting game that is currently in development by W3 Studios called Abatron. At its core, Abatron is an RTS game, but it’s been mixed with FPS elements that allow you to control your units in first-person or third-person mode.
“Abatron is galactic dominance with controlled combat. Build your base and troops in RTS mode. Then jump into any unit at any time in FPS or in third-person and confront your enemy head on. Unlock upgraded player abilities and build large armies to become the last player standing.”
There is a demo you can currently try on Steam by accessing the game’s Early Access page, although the game is set to go through a Kickstarter campaign shortly which you can find here.
