No Man’s Sky UK Release Date Moved Forward

No Man’s Sky UK release date has been brought forward so that the game will now release on the same day in the UK as the rest of Europe, Sony Computer Entertainment UK has announced. Previously, No Man’s Sky was scheduled to release on August 12th in the UK with Europe getting the game on August 10th.

As a result, No Man’s Sky will now be releasing in the UK on August 10th. Americans will get the game a day earlier on August 9th.

UK gamers had been disappointed that No Man’s Sky, a game being created by UK studio Hello Games, would be releasing in North America and Europe before the UK. However, this practice is normal and will be something British gamers will be all too familiar with. Thankfully, Sony has taken the time to talk to retailers and has managed to come to an agreement that will see No Man’s Sky releasing inline with its European counterparts.

No Man’s Sky got delayed last month with its June release date being pushed back until August. As a result of the delay, Hello Games founder Sean Murray found himself receiving death threats.
